Onboard a vendor
Four steps. The second one is the control: the contact of record is established here by a person who states how it was verified, and it is the only channel that can ever confirm a probe.
- 1 Vendor
- 2 Contact of record
- 3 First bank account
- 4 Portal login
1. Vendor
The company you will pay. Historical threads and invoices can be attached later.
2. Contact of record
Only this contact, reached on this channel, can state what the probe deposited. It is never taken from a request email, so a human records it and says how it was verified.
3. First bank account
Starts unverified and opens a case; the probe goes out on the next ACH window. Nothing can be paid to it until the contact of record reads the amount back.
4. Portal login (optional)
A second contact of record: the vendor can confirm probes by logging in instead of answering a call.
